OK. Just to let you know what you WON'T get here. I am not trying to lose weight - Like a lot of you I SHOULD, but I aint. So, there'll be no weigh-ins and no measurement updates.
Do not think for one minute, however, that if I do happen to shed a few unsightly kilos along the way that there will not be excessive gloating. No sireee.
I also am NOT, repeat NOT here to discuss my relationships of the intimate kind - and that has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that none of the above exist at this point in time.
I am not going to bore you with my life journey either - firstly because I can't remember most of what's already happenned, and what's left to travel probably won't be gripping reading unless I lie.... there's a thought.... And secondly because I have no idea if anyone will ever read this. Two days of blogging and I don't have a clue if I am public or if I need to invite readers, or how any of this works. And I am not going to try and find out, either, coz if my posts conistantly say "0 comments" I can always put it down to the fact that no one has yet accessed the site.
I am into my fourth year in my current job, and it's time for a change. I am most definitely not the kind of person who will ever accumulate long service leave. 2-3 years max is about as far as I have ever gone. I did have a job once for 5 years, but in the midst of that was 2 years in which I was off work recovering from a car accident, so I guess that doesn't really count. Yep, 2-3 is about it.
So, I have applied for another job and it looks like I'm in with a good chance. Next wednesday I fly interstate for an on-site interview. A new town in which I know no-body at all, and 250 kilometres from a city I love.
Oh God. Then if I get it I have to resign from the current one.
What if they offer me more money to stay??
What if they DON'T?? ........................

OOH, Ooh, where did you apply?
Always nice when employers want to give you more money to stay, but nicer to go when you need to get out.
I hear there's good money on the mines, feel like fly-in, fly-out job out of Perth? I wish I could!
